The wait is almost over—our annual Oktoberfest celebration is back! For three weeks, from
September 22 through October 12, we’re transforming Cooper’s into Scranton’s home for all things German:
authentic beer, hearty food, live music, games, and plenty of Gemütlichkeit.
🍻 Brewed the German Way
For the past six weeks, our brewers have been making German beers exclusively for Oktoberfest.
From crisp lagers to malty Märzens, every pint is brewed with time-honored German techniques.
We’re especially excited about our traditional German Altbier—tapped fresh from the cask during German Beer Night.
🎉 Event Highlights
✨September 24 — German Beer Night & Cask Tapping (Stammtisch)
Kick off Oktoberfest with a celebratory cask tapping and a guided tasting of German beer styles. Learn, sip, and join classic Oktoberfest games like the stein hoist.
✨October 5 — Meet the Brewer (Lighthouse)
Sample our Oktoberfest lineup, chat with the brewer, then head to the Lower Deck as the Oktoberfest Band brings the party. Lederhosen & dirndls encouraged—Best Dressed will be crowned! 👑
📆September 22 – October 12 — Festival Fun, All Day
All festival long, Cooper’s will be serving up authentic German fare—pretzels, sausages, schnitzels, and more—alongside our house-brewed German beers.
