Looking for something a little toasty and roasty to sip on before settling in for the big storm? Mario is serving up two classics. We just tapped an American stout and American brown ale that won’t let you down! Both beers balance roasted malts with American hops for a sessionable taste that won’t overpower the senses.

Schrute Stout
American Stout, 6.0%ABV, 45IBUs

Stouts rely on barley for their rich, decadent flavors and this stout is brewed using only barley grown in Pennsylvania on farms just like Schrute Farms. As expected, PA Malt Delivers! Roasted and caramel malts from PA’s Double Eagle Malthouse produce all the chocolate and coffee notes in this one to make a true PA Stout!

Sunday Funday Brown Ale
American brown ale, 6.5%ABV, 35IBUs

Named after a very successful fantasy football team who happens to also love brown ales as much as football. Brewed with a complex blend of crystal and roasted malts on top of a nice full-bodied base of pale malts. Hopped with Cascade and the Sasquatch which provides a nice floral flavor to help balance this classic American style ale.

Well, we just tapped an extra crispy Pilsner brewed with German floor-malted Pilsner malt and fresh German Hersbrucker hops that has a perfect balance! A special take on our German Pilsner recipe which turned out deliciously delicious.

The Helmsman’s Daughter
German Pilsner, 5.3% ABV, 40IBUs

The Helmsman’s Daughter is a classic German-style Pilsner brewed the long way—floor-malted Pilsner malt for a soft, bready backbone and restrained elegance, balanced by the delicate spice and floral snap of Hersbrucker hops. Bright gold and crisp, she’s precise without being stern, refined without losing charm. Like the helmsman who keeps the ship on course while others take the credit, this beer rewards patience of lagering, craftsmanship from quality ingredients, and a steady hand for balance.

We’ve been waiting to make this post for several months, but as they say, “good things take time.” The Christmas season always makes us turn to fine Belgian ales for the colder months and this year we made a full line up of Trappist-style Belgian ales which all turned out wonderful! Of course, our Christmas Ale leads the pack as a holiday joy but come try them all!

Cooper’s Christmas Ale
Belgian Strong Dark Ale, 9.2% ABV

Christmas is a time of celebration which causes breweries across the globe to brew up a special batch of beer that is rich in flavor and full of love. Our Cooper’s Christmas ale is just that- Special! A darker Belgium style ale that is lightly spiced with vanilla bean, licorice root, chamomile flowers, bitter orange peel, and cinnamon to enhance the fruity Belgium yeast. Rich malts pair with a jolly Christmas spirit to say Merry Christmas from The Cooper’s!

Gold Lobster
Belgian Tripel, 9.5%ABV

The Belgian Tripel is the beer that has that quality to make people fall in love. pilsner malt, spicy Saaz hops and trappist yeast are the stars of this show. A simple but thought-out malt bill is shepherded to deliciousness by the flavorful yeast producing spicy and fruity flavors that make the heart sing like the taste of a golden lobster.

Brown Lobster
Belgian dubbel, 8.0% ABV

The Belgian dubbel makes an average man’s brown ale into something classier like a fine lobster dinner. Brown Lobster is loaded with caramel flavor from rich malt usage with a touch of roast for balance while keeping the bitterness low. Homemade caramelized invert sugar keeps the body light and produces a unique flavor.

Sometimes you just want a good old fashioned beer… and sometimes we just want to brew up some classic smooth drinking American ales. A big and little brother of American beers- the pale ale and India pale ale brewed with American hops and full bodied American malt. Both with clean malt balanced by a hop presence that won’t overwhelm the palette!

Stump’s Pale Ale
American pale ale, 5.8% ABV, 31 IBUs

Classic American Pale Ale brewed with American barley and American Hops to just the strength that Stump likes it! Cascade and Amarillo hops gives flavors of citrus and spice while a full malt bill provides a rounded profile. Not too bitter, not too sweet, just right! The kind of beer American craft beer was founded on. Made with local grain from Pennsylvania’s Double Eagle Malting.

The SeaSquatch IPA
American IPA, 7.0% ABV, 70 IBUs

If you’ve been searching, then you’ve finally found it. American 2-row malt with a small dose of English Crystal malt creates the foundation for his pleasant hoppy beer. Brewed to showcase a wild hop variety discovered in the mountains of Bristish Columbia and is Canada’s first patented hop! Whirlpooled and dry-hopped alongside Centennial to create a balanced profile. Watch out! He’ll get ya!

The kegs have finally been tapped! Our pumpkin ale is flowing and turned out absolutely delicious this year! Local farm-fresh pumpkins were roasted then boiled into our house pumpkin ale- Patch’s.

Patch’s Pumpkin Ale
Pumpkins ale, 6.1% ABV, 30 IBUs

First we start with loads of locally grown pumpkins which are smothered with brown sugar and roasted. The caramelized pumpkin flesh is added to Patch’s, our pumpkin ale. Rich English malt and yeast produces a flavorful background for the pumpkin to sit while a gentle combination of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg dance on your tongue. A little sweet, a little spice, a gulp of joy! Made even more delicious when paired with a caramel, cinnamon sugar rim!
