Brooks Mine Wheat

🍻 Introducing “Brooks Mine Wheat” – A Beer with a Historic Twist! 🍻

At Cooper’s Family Brewing, we’re proud to call Scranton, Pennsylvania, our home, and we have a deep appreciation for the rich heritage of this great state. That’s why we’re excited to share with you our latest creation, “Brooks Mine Wheat,” a beer that’s not just about great taste but also about supporting our beloved Nay Aug Park’s oldest yet newest attraction, the Brooks Mine.

🌾 What Makes “Brooks Mine Wheat” Special? 🌾

We believe that great beer starts with great ingredients, and that’s why we’ve partnered with Double Eagle Malting, located in Huntingdon Valley, to craft this unique American Wheat ale. The key ingredient that sets this beer apart is Pennsylvania-grown and malted barley, giving it a local flair that truly embodies the essence of our state.

🍺 A Taste of Pennsylvania in Every Sip 🍺

Malt is the heart and soul of beer, and it’s the farmers and malt houses that determine its flavor. The craft malt industry has allowed us brewers to bring the flavors of Pennsylvania’s fields back into our pint glasses. Before 2010, there wasn’t a malt house in PA since prohibition, but today there are only 3! We’re thrilled to be part of this movement.

“Brooks Mine Wheat” is an American Pale Wheat with a 4.2% ABV and a gentle 21 IBU. It’s delicately hopped and fermented clean to let the rustic malt flavors of wheat and barley shine through. It’s incredibly sessionable, making it perfect for enjoying with friends.

🀝 Supporting the Brooks Mine Restoration 🀝

But this beer is about more than just delicious flavors; it’s about community and history. We’re donating $1.5 from every pint sold to the volunteer miners who played a crucial role in reopening the Brooks Mine, a fascinating piece of Scranton’s history.

The Brooks Mine has been a labor of love, and we’re thrilled to contribute to its preservation and restoration. We encourage you to join us in supporting this incredible project by donating directly to the cause at undergroundminers.com/support-us

So, the next time you raise a glass of “Brooks Mine Wheat,” you’re not just savoring a fantastic brew; you’re raising a toast to the past, present, and future of Scranton, Pennsylvania. Cheers to Double Eagle Malthouse, Brooks Mine, and the vibrant community that makes it all possible! 🍻🌟 #BrooksMineWheat #SupportLocalHistory #ScrantonProud Scranton #Brooksminedrift #DoubleEagleMalthouse
