Hard seltzer, 6.5%ABV

A smooth hard seltzer with a gentle berry flavor and pleasant mineral touch that makes for a truly refreshing sip. Fermented clean in a process that more chemistry then brewing. Mermaids really do exist and we’ve found them right here in Scranton!

Das Hafenmeisters Hefe
German hefeweizen, 5.8%ABV, 15 IBUs

This is the harbormaster’s favorite- the German wheat beer. Pilsner and wheat malts create a light color and soft body while the traditional yeast produces flavors of clove and banana. The hefeweizen has been known to ship people into a love of craft beer with its easy, flavorful, and unique character. A fresh Hefeweizen is a good reason to get excited! Come down and enjoy a pint with Das Hafenmeister!

Sir Frederick’s English Mild
Dark mild, 3.7% ABV, 20 IBU

When you want to drink light beer but also want flavor you can ponder over, Sir Frederick’s English Mild is right for you! Rich malt character is carefully balanced alongside delicious yeast flavors to generate a beer that has full flavor without having to use such large quantities of ingredients making it low in ABV. Homemade invert sugar adds a unique twist to let you know you’re at Cooper’s!

Also, today is special because it’s our cousin Wyatt Cooper’s birthday and he loves the English mild! Plus he’s been busy painting the restaurant and just gave Wilma the Whale’s room a fresh new look 😯!

New England IPA, 7.4% ABV, 31 IBUs

A classic but not-so-classic New England IPA. The classic light and balanced malt profile with a pleasant dose of flaked oats & wheat. Medium bitterness with citrus undertones but then double dry hopped with the not-so-classic Belma and Huell Melon hops to create a fruity, grassy and somewhat tropical flavor that makes for a fun game of “guess that flavor!” It’s bound to make for a good time!

Stumblin’ Pirate
German Doppelbock, 8.8% ABV, 22 IBUs

Pirates weren’t known for beer but then we did a little research and found out that there were German pirates back in the 1300 & 1400’s and this was also around the time that the German doppelbock was first produced! And this beer can definitely have you stumblin’ like a pirate. A strong, slightly toasty lager that uses its alcohol content to cut the sweetness from the malts. Cold conditioned to make a smooth drinking experience. An awesome beer to drink on a cold winters evening!
